Hi! I found your blog through my friend Lori at SparksCircus.
Just wanted to comment on this beautiful scenery! We have to drive several hours to see anything even halfway resembling this, though we are close to a substantial lake with good nature trails (mostly primitive, which is nice). Our boys love sticks, especially our youngest, who is 13.
The last we tromped through a stream, though, was several years ago in the mountains of New Mexico...

I am a twenty-seven year old mother of one, teaching him in a classical way as best I can. I hope for this blog to recount our daily exploits in our homeschool and life.

The similarity between the first two pictures is kind of funny. Your nature is beautiful, except that nasty spider thing.
Love these photos, thanks for sharing.
haha - I was thinking the EXACT same thing as Paula!! The river/stream nature is GORGEOUS ... all but that icky spider. ewwww.....
I love the river picture too! It looks so peaceful, but I could do without the spider myself. :)
Those are beautiful pictures....except for the arachnid....eeewwwwww. Sorry...LOL
I love the rocks in the river.... :-)
The one with the rock is really neat.
Great pictures - even the spider :)
I really like the spider. What is it with kids and sticks?? Great pictures.
Ah... the giant stick and a boy. A classic. :)
